La educación

"La educación es el arma más poderosa que puedes usar para cambiar el mundo" 
Nadie debería de olvidar aquella frase de Mandela en la que nos proponía el arma con la que conseguir la paz en la tierra.
Y por supuesto que no es de hoy.  Podríamos hablar de educación como forma humanista de formación aquella que, hace más de dos siglos y medio, supuso el antes y el después de la cultura asiática. Las “casas de instrucción” en el antiguo Egipto donde alumnos recibían clases de religión, lectura, matemáticas y escritura o también recorrer la historia de la India cuando 2000 años A.C  la creación del sistema de castas, supuso que se empezara a valorar el conocimiento personal como nunca antes se había hecho. 
En definitiva, la educación es la historia que civilización tras civilización nos ha ido formando y haciendo evolucionar hasta ser aquello que hoy somos.
Transmitir nuestra historia de generación en generación y asimilar códigos éticos y morales apropiados son quizás los dos pilares básicos que podríamos recoger como fundamentos de lo que es necesario aprender.
Hoy en día, en este día que la historia nos ha traído y después de tantos y tantos esfuerzos, sabemos que el conocimiento es la herramienta necesaria para procurar el bien y la ignorancia se podría equiparar al propio caos.
La educación es la vida y con ella es fácil vivir en paz. Desde este punto de vista filosófico se abre este blog en lo que quiero construir un foro en el que compartir vivencias y enseñanzas que teniendo como base aquello en lo que docentes nos dejamos cada día un poquito de nuestra vida, no sirva para aprender un poquito más de nosotros mismos y de la propia educación de los demás.
